Overview

The Sai Satcharita was written by Shri. Govind Raghunath Dabholkar alias Hemadpant. This book has since been translated into many other languages English, Hindi, Gujarati, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali,  Nepali, Punjabi, and Konkani languages. Another English version was released in New York.

In the 19th century, The Shirdi Sai Baba movement began while he was living in Shirdi.
